Inspire’s reputation, and the trust of its customers and contacts are vital to its business, and the protection of these is of fundamental importance to Inspire’s business. In order to encourage compliance throughout the business, Inspire maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards any form of anti-competitive conduct.

Inspire continues to invest in its competition compliance programme, regularly reminding our teams of their obligations, and providing guidance on best practice. In addition, we have a comprehensive competition handbook, approved and created with the assistance of the Inspire board, which includes both a compliance policy and easily digestible compliance guides for areas which we have identified as posing a higher risk to our organisation. This handbook applies to all employees, Directors and Shareholders of Inspire, and all are empowered and encouraged to report any concerns or potential breaches to the board. In addition to the Handbook, Inspire has rolled out mandatory, tailored competition law training to all directors and employees involved in tendering, procurement or pricing, or who may have contact with competitors or suppliers. This training is designed to ensure that all relevant personnel understand their obligations and the behaviours required to maintain full compliance and was followed by an assessment to ensure that attendees had fully understood the content.

Inspire is committed to compliance with Competition Law across its business, and will always provide any assistance the regulators may require in order to instil a culture of compliance across the roofing industry, and would encourage all industry participants to review and follow any sector-specific guidance published by the CMA or other relevant authorities.
